Some wines carry centuries of history in every glass. Others are made by people determined to rewrite what that history can become. Old Souls, New Rules is a Story Cellar Session exploring what happens when ancient grapes, historic vineyards, and generations of tradition meet a new generation of winemakers willing to question the rules.
Through a curated selection of wines, we'll travel to places where the past is still very much alive—discovering indigenous and nearly forgotten grapes, old vineyards, traditional winemaking methods, and the people working to preserve them. But these aren't simply stories about keeping tradition intact. They're about the winemakers who take something old and make it relevant again.
Along the way, we'll uncover the history, culture, personalities, and unexpected moments behind each bottle. Why did certain grapes survive while others disappeared? When does protecting tradition become resisting change? And what happens when a winemaker decides that the old…
